Dual Wavelength Technology

Each LED in the CORE 60 contains two chips — one emitting red light at 660 nm and one emitting near-infrared at 850 nm. Red light at 660 nm is primarily absorbed in the upper layers of skin and is widely studied for its role in supporting collagen synthesis, wound healing, and skin health. Near-infrared at 850 nm penetrates deeper into muscle and joint tissue, where it is absorbed by cytochrome c oxidase in the mitochondria, supporting cellular energy (ATP) production.

Treatment Distance and Coverage

At the recommended 15 cm treatment distance, the CORE 60 covers an area of approximately 30 × 25 cm — enough for one knee, one shoulder, a section of the lower back, or the full face. For larger treatment areas, multiple passes can be performed, or users may upgrade to the ZenGlow CORE 300 or PRO 600 for wider coverage.

Recommended Treatment Protocol

For general wellness and skin health, sessions of 10–15 minutes per area, 3–5 times per week, are commonly recommended in photobiomodulation literature. The CORE 60 can be used on any area of the body. When treating the face, the included eye protection goggles should always be worn. No recovery time is needed between sessions, and the device can be used immediately before or after exercise, sauna, or other wellness activities.
