Medical-Grade Stainless Steel Interior

The ZenCold Tao uses a medical-grade stainless steel liner — the most hygienic interior surface available for cold plunge tubs. Stainless steel resists bacterial growth, is non-porous, and can be cleaned and sanitized thoroughly. Unlike acrylic or plastic liners, stainless steel does not absorb odors, stain, or degrade over time. This makes the Tao particularly well-suited for commercial facilities with high client turnover where hygiene standards are critical.

Compact Oval Form Factor

The oval 1320 × 920 mm tub is designed to fit in spaces where a full-length rectangular plunge cannot go. Despite its compact footprint, the ergonomic interior shape supports full-body seated immersion — the contoured walls guide the occupant into a comfortable upright position with water coverage up to the shoulders.

3.1 kW Chiller Performance

The Tao’s 3.1 kW chiller cools water to as low as 3°C and maintains the set temperature with precision thermostat control. The chiller operates at whisper-quiet levels (under 50 dB), making it suitable for indoor spa environments where noise is a concern. Continuous water circulation through the chiller and built-in filtration keeps the water clean and at the target temperature between sessions. The system uses eco-friendly R32 refrigerant for energy-efficient operation.

Installation

The Tao requires a flat surface capable of supporting approximately 350 kg when filled. A 220V outlet powers the chiller. The compact 170 × 110 cm footprint fits in most treatment rooms, bathrooms, and outdoor terraces. ZenGlow provides free installation in Thailand for cold plunge systems.
